About
Experience
Working in collaboration with clients to find ways to bring healing, balance and happiness is my passion. This is what has compelled me to learn the skills needed to partner with my compassion and become an effective therapist. I opened my practice in 2017 to serve the Richardson, Dallas, and Plano communities. My goal is to provide clients with the tools they need to move forward and make the best of each situation.
I also serve clients in a hospital setting, working closely with doctors and colleagues to provide the best care in times of crisis, change, and growth.
Approach to Counseling
My graduate work in counseling was completed at SMU. I was trained in many models of therapy and subscribe to Cognitive Behavioral Therapy as a foundational approach with applications of various models if fitting.
I see therapy as a way towards healing that is best found by the client through guidance and learning what works best for each person. I believe that we grow as we learn self-acceptance and it is partnered with helpful steps towards change.
My commitment to my clients is to provide a safe place for healing and gaining insight.
